Pride Plumbing was called out to investigate the cause of a water stain on a downstairs ceiling. After cutting an access in an upstairs shower wall, our inspection found that the leak was being caused by deteriorated slip joint washer on a bathtub/shower's waste overflow. We replaced the slip joint nut and washer and stopped the leak. We also ran a cable down the shower drain and used a ShopVac to clear a stoppage below the bathtub/shower's waste overflow and above the P-trap.
