Pride Plumbing was called out for a toilet bowl leaking at its base. We pulled the toilet and found that its flange was about half an inch below the floor. So, we cleaned the existing flange, installed a new flange spacer and a new closet flange extender, a Mainline ML11580 wax ring gasket, reset the toilet, and replaced its toilet bowl bolts and caps. We added two plastic shims to level the toilet. We also provided cost estimates to 1) replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model (this would include draining and pulling the old toilet, inspecting/cleaning/replacing the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, flapper, water fill valve, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line); and 2) replace a two-handle bathtub/shower faucet valve with a new Peerless mobile home two-handle model.
