Pride Plumbing came out and provided cost estimates to 1) install a refrigerator icemaker water supply line (this would require us to drill a hole in the floor behind the refrigerator and stub a piece of PEX piping down through the floor into the crawlspace; connect the new PEX piping to the main water supply line in the crawlspace using a ProPress copper to PEX transition fitting; use a 3/4- to 1/2-inch tee fitting to tee off from the transition fitting to the ice maker; install a water supply stop behind the refrigerator; connect a braided stainless steel water supply line from the supply stop to the back of the refrigerator, turn the water back on, and test for leaks); and 2) remove a whole-house water filtration system (this would require us to cut the inlet and outlet water lines going to the filter system; remove the filter and its housing; and use PEX piping and fittings to reconnect the two sections of water pipe back together); and 3) replace a bidet toilet lit and make its ap
