Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged kitchen sink floor drain. We first removed a section of the drain assembly and inserted a sewer machine down into the drain, but it couldn't clear the blockage. We then used a ShopVac to clear all the water out of the drain and that's when we noticed a spice shaker cap lodged in the drain. We continued to use the ShopVac and it eventually pulled out the cap. We then reassembled the sink's drain assembly, ran water down the drain to test it, and there were no more issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the kitchen sink's under-sink drain, P-trap, and drain line through the floor to under the building in the crawlspace, and to where it ties into the main sewer drain stack, with new PVC piping and fittings.
