Pride Plumbing came out and performed a descaling service on a Rinnai RE199i natural gas tankless water heater. We cut the power off to the unit from the breaker along with cutting off the water, removed the unit's cover and cleaned the air intake screen, mixed a bucket of water with Rectorseal Calci-Free Tankless Water Heater Flush, let it run through the unit for about 45 minutes to an hour, flushed the heater with just water, and then reattached the unit's skirt. We tested the unit for proper operation with no issues.
