Upon arrival at clients home. The client stated water was coming through two of the supply vents. One in the guest room and one in the dining room. We went into the attic to check for possible water damage and noticed the unit was sweating. We insulated the drain pipe and insulated the supply vent in the dining room. We opened both vents all the way to insure not restrictions were happening. We also checked the filter. The filter was extremely dirty. We provided and changed the filter for the client. The filter brand and size is Aprilaire 210. We explained where client could get the filter from Amazon, Home Depot etc. most of the sweating was being caused by the dirty filter. We advised client would need to contact a roofing company to insure that the roof wasn’t leaking causing the water damage in the dining room at the ridge line of the ceiling as that damage was not caused by the hvac unit. Unit was cooling upon departure.
