I always use these guys for Hvac needs. Techs were on time / quick / efficient / professional. Good group of guys.
Performed cooling maintenance, checked air filter ok. Cleaned condensate drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values ok. Started air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge and temperature drop across coil.
Service call that the AC was not operating. Upon arrival set system to cooling to test. Found outdoor unit was intermittently coming on/off. Inspected Components and found Dual Capacitor had failed. Installed a new 35/5 Mfd Dual Capacitor to test system. Inspected wiring at outdoor unit to ensure it was in good condition due to signs of mouse presence in the control panel. Put unit in operation and System started and ran with no issues. Measured Voltage and Amp Draw on Compressor. Measured refrigerant charge on system. System is operating to standards.
Performed Precision AC Tune Up on system. Replaced 16x25x1 Air Filter. Cleaned AC Drain Line and Condensation Pump. Inspected electrical components on the Indoor and Outdoor Units. The dual capacitor is testing at its lowest recommended rating. Spoke with homeowner about replacing the Dual Capacitor. Measured refrigerant charge on system and air temperatures. Refrigerant levels were to standards at this time. Homeowner inquired about Duct Cleaning. Recommend using Mold N More Out of Exton: https://moldnmoredecon.com/
Performed cooling maintenance, replaced media filter. Cleaned condensate drain and pump. Shut off humidifier for summer. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge and temperature drop across coil.
Performed gas heat tune up check electrical low and high ok check filter ok clean sensor check blower cap ok split ok measure low and high stage ok combustion test cycle furnace ok
Performed heating maintenance, replaced standard air filter. Cleaned burners and flame sensor, inspected heat exchanger. Blew out condensate trap and drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections. Started gas furnace, tested limit and safety switches. Measured fuel pressures. Checked operation and temperature rise.
Performed Precision Heat Tune Up on system. Cleaned and serviced Humidifier. Tested Humidifier and set Control at 35% for the Heating Season. Cleaned Furnace and Humidifier Drain Lines. Cleaned and tested operation of Condensation Pump. Inspected all Electrical Components on system. Inspected Burners and Heat Exchanger. Performed Combustion Analysis on Furnace. Air Filter is starting to get dirty. Homeowner is going to purchase new Filter and replace. System is operating to standards at this time.
Performed Precision Air Conditioning Tune Up on System. Replaced Air Filter provided by Homeowner. Cleaned Drain Line and Condensation Pump. Inspected Electrical Components on Indoor and Outdoor Units. Measured Refrigerant Charge on system. System is operating to standards at this time. Had previously recommended an Air Cleaner/Air Scrubber. With the Humidifier and High Efficiency Air Filter this would help to maintain the Air Quality in the Home.
Performed Precision Air Conditioning Tune Up on Trane System. Replaced 16x25x1 Air Filter. Cleaned Condensation Drain Pipe and Pump. Inspected Electrical Components on Indoor and Outdoor Units. Measured Refrigerant Charge on system. System is in good condition and is operating to standards at this time. Recommend installing an ECM Motor Surge Protector for the Blower Motor. Variable Speed Motors can be sensitive to Power fluctuations and can be damaged in Power Surges. The One Time Surge Protector can help protect the Motor from damage in such an event.
Performed Precision Heat Tune Up on Gas Fired Trane Furnace. Replaced the 16x25x1 Air Filter. Removed and Cleaned Burners. Some rust and Corrosion noted on the Heat Exchanger Walls. Rust noted on the Burners as well, but after cleaning the Burners they Fired off with no issues. Performed Combustion Analysis on Furnace. Humdifier Service was not performed, but did turn the Humidifier on to test and tightened the Connection at the Water Solenoid. System is running tomstandards at this time.
Performed Precision Heating Tune Up on Gas Fired Furnace. Checked the High Efficiency Air Filter. Filter is dirty and should be replaced. Spoke with Homeowner about Filter. He is going to order replacements and change. Serviced and tested Humidifier. Humidistat Control is set to 35% and both Dampers are open. Performed Combustion Analysis on Furnace while measuring Gas Pressure and Supply/Return Air Temperatures. Some rust noted on Heat Exchanger Walls but overall still in good condition. Furnace is very clean and is operating to standards.
Installed new Amana outdoor unit on a new plastic pad. Installed new disconnect and whip. Tied the existing line set back into the new outdoor and Flushed the line set. Pressure tested for leaks and there are no leaks. In the basement we installed a new amana coil onto the existing gas furnace. We tied the supply plenum back in and installed a new TXV onto the line set. We inspected the heat exchanger when we pulled the old coil off and everything looked in great shape. The new system was evacuated and tested and is running to factory standards.
Installation of a new Compresor includes reclaiming the Refrigerant from the system, removing and installing new Compressor, pressure testing, vacuuming system to under 500 Microns, and Charging system with Refrigerant. Will also replace the 35/5 Mfd Dual Capacitor and filter drier. Performed work as mentioned above. Charged system according to weight. Tested operations. System is running at manufacture specifications.
Service call that the Breaker for the Outdoor Unit was tripping. Arrived onsite and spoke with Homeowner about issue. Proceeded to the Outdoor unit to diagnose. After troubleshooting unit, found Two Compressor windings were shorted to ground. Also found 35/5 Mfd Dual Capacitor had failed when the Compressor shorted. Contacted Manufacturer and Compressor is still under Warranty. Their is not a Labor Warranty on the Unit. Estimate is included for the replacement of the Compressor. Cost of Refrigerant and additional parts/materials has been waived.
Performed Precision Air Conditioning Tune Up on system. Replaced 16x25x1 Air Filter. Cut Condensation Drain Pipe and Installed Clean Out Tee and Union. Cleaned Condensation Pump and tested Operation. QqqqWashed Outdoor Coil with water. Measured Refrigerant Levels of system.
