I always use these guys for Hvac needs. Techs were on time / quick / efficient / professional. Good group of guys.
Performed QA on Trane Gas Furnace/Heat Pump system. Reviewed installation with homeowner and reviewed with her how the heat pump/Furnace system operates. Tested system in cooling mode and tested in heating mode. Performed combustion testing and measured gas pressures. Tested wet switch and ez trap safeties. Filled condensation pump to test. Homeowner mentioned she overheard the installers talking about spilling something and needing to take pictures. She was worried that something happened to the system. Did not find any issues or any indication that something was spilled. Completed checklist form in system.
Estimate to replace air conditioner and coil, Aston, PA Inspected indoor and outdoor units. Found all components running and blowing warm air and lineset at room temperature. Condenser coil has heavy damage on lower level. Measured up system and provided estimate to customer.
Performed QA on Trane Heat Pump/Air Handler system. Found the Supply temperature sensor was not installed. Installed sensor and connected to the board. Checked connections on all of the plugs and sensors for the system. Programmed system and put into operation and tested. Tested system in Cooling Mode, Heating Mode, and Emergency Heat. Tested the ez trap safety and filled condensation pump. Refrigerant readings were all normal and system was operating. No other issues were found at this time. Completed checklist form in system and reviewed installation with homeowner.
Heat Pump Consultation, Aston, PA Reviewed home and insulation of building. Looked for ways to improve energy consumption as bills are very high. Found attic insulation minimal and no rim joist insulation. Found air handler sequencer stuck in closed position causing backup heat to be energized all of the time. Recommend replacing heat pump system at this time.
No cooling; 2.5 Ton Rheem R22 AC system (Piston) Found clipped 24V wire at outdoor equipment. Checked capacitor, checked compressor amps. Replaced 16x24x1 Filter. Spliced wire. Tested system operation. 17.5 degree temperature split. High subcooling and low superheat indicate a restricted metering device. System is operating but not at desirable efficiency. Recommend replacing system.
Performed cooling maintenance, checked air filter ok. Blew out condensate trap and drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge. Checked operation and temperature drop across coil.
Performed cooling maintenance, replaced air filter. Checked condensate drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge. Checked operation and temperature drop across coil.
Performed cooling maintenance, checked media filter ok. Humidifier is off fo summer. Cleaned condensate drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge. Checked operation and temperature drop across coil.
Installed new primary control. Tested operation checked aquastat, zone panel and primary. Smoke/combustion/draft test: Ok Oil boiler is operating well at the time of this service.
Arrived to find primary control not working, tested cad cell, checked to make sure customer wasn’t out of oil, system fires but won’t stay on. Need to return with primary control, the one needed is in photos.
Perform oil boiler cleaning tuneup vacuum out heat exchanger clean chimney base and flue pipe, replaced oil filter nozzle and pump strainer, check oil flow increase oil pressure from 100 to 140 psi, cleaned cad cell and electrodes, test transformer ok performed combustion/smoke test ok check all four zones ok cycle boiler test aqua stat limit ok set to 180F water pressure 18 psi cycle boiler couple times ok check draft ok.
Performed QA on installation. Tested system in heating and performed combustion test and static pressure. Tested water temperature and measured at 115 degrees. Used electronic leak detector to check all gas fittings. Completed checklist form in system. This would have passed the QA, but we had the call back because of the ceiling tiles. Some minor issues found at QA: wiring ran through hole in furnace cabinet, W1 and W2 jumped but overall a nice looking installation.
Pump down Refrigerant into outdoor unit, removed old line set that was in between floor joists and drop sealing, we then drilled into floor joists with 2-1/4 hole saw bit, then ran new 3/4 and 3/8 lineset tho holes and zoom locked couplers, did pressure test at 300psi let sit for 15 min and then pulled vacume. Pumped system down to 300 microns and let sit for 30 min with no rise. Then opened service valves and tested ac. Then tested all operations all okay at time of completion of install.
Removed old oil heater and AC, as well as the hot water heater, Installed new 80% natural gas heat/AC Also installed 35 feet of 1 inch galvanized pipe with hangers supporting piping to exterior wall pressure tested in line outside to six psi, gas piping held pressure for 24 hours, installed gas manifold inside the heater room with three ports, one for the water heater, one for the gas heater, and left them one spare for the future appliances. Install gas valves at manifold and add water heater and new furnace Ripped out Old return drop and install new 25 x 10 return boot and one length of 25 x 10 return duct, also added one return to the basement level.Wired in safeties by breaking or terminal on furnace board tested condensate pump and easy trap switch all or operational seal all duck work with tape and silicone no leakage at time of completion. Waste isolation pads under condensate pump and ran new vinyl tubing to slop sink in side. Tested gas pressures and did combustion check
