Performed QA on Amana Gas Furnace/AC system. Reviewed installation with homeowner. Completed checklist form in system. Tested system in heating mode and performed combustion and gas pressure tests. Turned system on in AC mode to ensure it was working properly. The installers had two transformers to supply the Digital Humidistat. Removed 1 transformer and rewired to the W and C Terminals on the control board. They also had the thermostat programmed for a humidifier even though it is not wired into the thermostat. Tested humidifier and found that the saddle valve is not opening and no water is going to the humidifier. Spoke with homeowner and let her know of the issue. We did not replace the saddle valve or humidifier during the install. We replaced the water line and moved humidifier to the return drop. Shut the humidifier down for the AC season and will provided estimate for replacement of the valve.
