Old existing disconnect with breaker caught on fire. Disconnect was replaced to bypass generac load shed that was giving issue to run 1st floor condenser. After replacement of disconnect system was powered to run and check operation. While system is running only condenser fan motor seems to be online. Saw that 1st floor unit had hard start relay and new standard duty electrical stored power boost system. Checked electrical wiring for compressor to get amperage reading for compressor. While checking compressor amperage. Discovered that compressor was grounded, compressor windings blow out. Checked compressor with megohmmeter to confirm that compressor is bad. Recommend replacement options to customer for their 10yr old system vs compressor replacement and or condenser only Cust
