Today I arrived on site to address issues with the heating and AC system. Gas Valve Installation: Installed a new gas valve on the furnace unit. Inducer Motor Installation: Installed a new inducer motor on the furnace unit. Heating system Parts needed for the furnace unit. -inducer motor- Replced -electronic gas valve-Replaced - Richard Dominguez assisted the customer with the installation of a new gas valve and inducer motor at the furnace unit. - Richard ensured that the power was shut off, inspected the wiring and connections, and secured them tightly after finishing with the installation. - The defective gas valve and inducer motor were dismounted, and new parts were installed securely. - The customer signed and approved the installation, confirming the repair was completed to their satisfaction. Preform maintenance on one well McLean propane fired water boiler with two baseboard heating zones and indirect storage tank: * shut power to boiler * Remove the rollout switch, Flame guard on top and on bottom and pilot assembly * vacuumed and dusted out burner section of boiler under heat exchanger * vacuumed and brushed burners clean and clear * vacuumed and dusted boiler cabinet, piping and all components clean and clear * test and check expansion tank, water feed / back flow preventer, air vent and relief valves * confirm boiler pressure is normal 18psi * Secured all electrical, wiring, and components and polished clean * Check and inspect all piping, Circulator pump and components * Cleaned spark igniter and flame sensor with copper bristle brush and polish clean with steel wool * Reinstalled and secured pilot assembly back in place along with both flame guards and rollout switch * Return power to boiler * Test domestic hot water zone on boiler- System fires and is operating n
Today I arrived on site to address issues with the heat and cooling system. Furnace Unit Inspection:Determined the furnace unit was not working. Fault Diagnosis:Identified a malfunctioning inducer motor. Noted the gas valve was not working. Observed a dirty flame sensor. - Richard identified that the customer's furnace was making noise and not functioning properly. - Upon inspection, Richard found that the inducer motor was defective and the gas valve was not supplying gas to the furnace. - Richard explained that the gas valve was receiving power but not opening to supply gas, indicating it needed replacement. - Richard informed the customer that he would send an estimate for the gas valve and inducer motor replacement and return to install it once available.
