Customer is having issues with second floor thermostats: This is a zoned furnace / coil in the attic in the horizontal position. This is a (3) zone system- second floor hallway thermostat, master bed thermostat, and attic thermostat all control this system. At arrival I found thermostats reading no signal and calling for heat but system is off * check furnace * found that all zoning and wireless thermostat panels had NO LED LIGHTS ON AND NO POWER * start checking system and immediately found that the blower door is not closed all the way and the door switch is open * the knobs on the blower door are loose and falling off- secured blower door with zip screws to keep door switch closed * power is restored to all equipment * test heating- cycle each zone on and off from thermostats individually to confirm normal operations * furnace cycles on and off (5) times during testing- normal operations * the furnace has a condensate leak on the 2” exhaust pipe- the pump sits on the floor with no
Today I arrived on site to address the reported dye leak. Issue Identification: Located multiple dye leaks in both the evaporator and condenser coils.
