Standard duty electrical stored power boost system Upon arrival had thermostat call for cooling. Inspected indoor air handler. Blower motor is on/ running. Filter was replaced @ time of AC maintenance. Checked outdoor condenser. Outdoor system is not operating. System is heard struggling to try and start. Opened up electrical cabinet and found standard duty electrical stored power boost system swollen/ bulging @ top of booster. Gave customer estimate to replace booster. Customer agreed. Booster was replaced, system was ran and tested for normal operation. Chemically cleaned evaporator coil. Inspected blower compartment and primary drain pan. Treated and cleared all drain lines,traps and tested all condensate pumps. Brushed and cleaned all electrical cabinets and tighten and secured all electrical connections on both inside and outdoor units. Tested all safety switches all in working condition. Replaced air filter provided by homeowner Aprilaire 210. Chemically cleaned outdoor condenser and checked operations and refrigerant pressures. Tested all electrical voltage, capacitors, and amperage on all motors and compressors.
