Today I arrived on site Hot Surface Igniter Replacement: Replaced the hot surface igniter on the Furnaces unit. Inducer Motor: Noted the inducer motor requires replacement due to excessive noise. Zone: This equipment is part of the Heating and AC system. Upon arriving at the property, the client directed me to the garage. I proceeded to replace the igniter of the furnace unit. I concluded with the installation of the new hot surface igniter of the unit. I started the unit, the united the united began to operate normally. During the mini rei of the unit, I found the motor inductor making a loud noise. I showed her and explained to the client that this piece must be replaced to avoid future failures in the system. I also suggested to the client co sideral upgrade the furnace unit since this unit is more than 10 years old. Standard duty electrical stored power boost system Upon arrival had thermostat call for cooling. Inspected indoor air handler. Blower motor is on/ running. Filter was replaced @ time of AC maintenance. Checked outdoor condenser. Outdoor system is not operating. System is heard struggling to try and start. Opened up electrical cabinet and found standard duty electrical stored power boost system swollen/ bulging @ top of booster. Gave customer estimate to replace booster. Customer agreed. Booster was replaced, system was ran and tested for normal operation. Chemically cleaned evaporator coil. Inspected blower compartment and primary drain pan. Treated and cleared all drain lines,traps and tested all condensate pumps. Brushed and cleaned all electrical cabinets and tighten and secured all electrical connections on both inside and outdoor units. Tested all safety switches all in working condition. Replaced air filter provided by homeowner Aprilaire 210. Chemically cleaned outdoor condenser and checked operations and refrigerant pressures. Tested all electrical voltage, capacitors, and amperage on all motors and compressors.
