Very pleased with this company

Took forever for us to decide to insulate our attic mostly because we had so much junk up there. But this group took everything away, put in new flooring and great insulation. We went from R11 to R42! What a difference. We set the thermostat to 60 at 9pm each evening but it never gets to that because the insulation does such a good job of keeping heat in. Also insulated where we had a frozen pipe situation and no frozen pipes this winter. Group very nice to work with.

Today I arrived on site to address the reported AC issue. Troubleshooting & Diagnosis: Determined the AC system for the entire house was not working properly. Identified the blower motor as non-operational. Found that the capacitors and contactor were also not functioning. Noted the system operates on R22 refrigerant. Upon arriving at the client's property. The client explained to me that the condenser unit is constantly running and does not stop. I proceeded to verify the tstat. The tstat is operating well this time. I proceeded to check the AHU in the attic. I found the blower motor, not working in the AIRHANDLER Unit. I also found the blower motor Starter cap not working. I proceeded to check the condenser Unit. I found in the condenser Unit, the CAP and the Contact not working. The condenser Unit continued to run without receiving an AC call from the thermostat. I showed him and explained to the client the situation of the system. I recommended the customer to consider replacing t

I/W Upon arrival had customer run 1st floor/basement system. Check applied voltage. 244volts Check compressor amperage. 7.08-8.37 amps Fan is running @ higher amperage than factory rating of .93 fan motor is pulling .94-1.16amps Checked compressor windings with meggohmmeter to show compressor is good. Spoke with technician support. Technical support recommended that a crank case heater may be helpful once refrigerant charge is above 10lbs. technical support also mentioned that in some case based on thermostat that is being used we could get reverberations @ outdoor unit. System is working @ this time, issue is premature we’re unable to determine cause of condenser making screeching sound on shut down. Customer will monitor system operation. Manufacture is aware of this issue with 1st floor Trane condenser. Need to monitor system operation in the future. Issue may need to be revisited @ a later time.
