Here to replace installed Evaporator coil for 2nd floor system. 2nd floor system had a leak in evaporator coil. Unit was completely flat. Pulled vacuum on remaining gas to Unsweat brazing joint to disconnect line set from old existing evaporator coil. Disconnected drain, remove line set. Needed to re-hung hanging material to support new coil and reposition drain pan. Disconnected return flexible ductwork to remove coil. Installed new coil, brazed in line set and level unit and reconnected drain line and return ductwork. Pressurized unit with dry nitrogen to 350psi and let sit for 30 minutes to a hour. System pressures held, no leak. Dump dry nitrogen and a pulled vacuum on system for 30minutes to a hour. Added 7lbs of R410A refrigerant charge to adjust system pressure and temperature. Ran and test system operation. View visual findings from this job here - https://visionshare.xoi.io/?id=XA-90AE-99B16F2771B74540B06B30D2FE173CBC

Today I arrived on site to address the dye leakage issue in the AC system. Diagnosis and Findings: Identified multiple dye leaks within the cooling module of the 2nd floor AC system. Recommended Action: Replacement of the cooling module is necessary due to the extent of the leaks. When arriving at the client's property. The client explained to me that another company had done a dye test. The company previously diagnosed an R410A leak in the cooling module of the 2nd floor system. I proceeded to verify the system. I found multiple dye leaks in the evap coil. I proceeded to check the condenser coil. I didn't find any leaks in the condenser coil. I showed him to the client and I explained about the situation of the system. I explained that I will submit the information to the office so that he can be contacted to provide you with updates on the replacement of the cooling module. I also recommended the client who should consider scheduling appointments to do the tuneups. View
