He states that they have gradually noticed that overtime The system takes longer and longer to recover. The customer has hot water in the house, but after taking multiple showers, It takes the tank a very long time to heat water back up. • test operations- the aqua stat on the system is set to the MAX temperature • had the customer run hot water so the tank would call for the boiler • confirm the DHW circulator pump is operational and supply and return piping heating properly • monitor operations and watch system satisfied on temperature 180 • customer has hot water leaving the tank and going to fixtures The existing indirect tank is 16 years old and has never been drained or flushed and efficiency is dropped.
