Upon arrival, found that 35uf capacitor for compressor run operation has failed and reading 0uf. Replaced with new 35uf capacitor and test run in cooling. During test run in cooling, found that furnace blower motor has failed. Strong electrical burn smell when blower compartment door was removed. These failures are possibly linked together due to one not working properly and the other being put in a high stress situation causing another part failure. Unsure of which failed first. Turned off power to furnace and AC system to prevent unnecessary power usage and further issues. Due to age of unit and cost of repair, full system replacement is strongly encouraged. Quote for repair will be worked up on Friday as Lennox dealers are closed at time of diagnostics. Quote for replacement can be started anytime.
