Upon arrival discovered unit was not fully reassembled, capacitor was not put back in mounting bracket. Inspected heat exchanger from bottom side, discovered two corrosion points on the secondary. Inspected heat exchanger with camera through limit access. Heat exchanger is getting stress marks on steel but no visible cracks or holes. Performed combustion analysis on furnace during operation and no concerns were found, combustion report photo uploaded. Blower motor capacitor 5mfd tested at 3.06. Blower motor has very minor resistance to it, when spun by hand it stays spinning for about 15-20 seconds, motor doesn’t seem to be in concerning conditions to my knowledge. Replaced 5mfd capacitor with turbo 200 mini and set to 5mfd. Inducer motor has slight vibration to it but it is not a concerning amount.
FURNACE NOT OPERATING UPON ARRIVAL. Client would like a Furnace inspection due to cost and age of FURNACE. REMOVED HIGH LIMIT TO INSPECT HEAT EXCHANGER. Discovered heavy rust deposits and flaking on all 3 cells inside at first bend. NO signs of holes or cracks at the best of my ability. PERFORMED walk-through with client on Honeywell 800.Client does not have working Carbon monoxide device. INSTALLED 1 FROM TRUCK STOCK. Furnace is not operating at departure.

Furnace not operating upon arrival. DISCOVERED DEFECTIVE indoor blower motor. Motor receiving 120v and capacitor reading 3uf. Tested with mini turbo 5uf and blower motor not engaging. Client would like to have estimate for repairs and replacement for Furnace. System is not operating at departure
Upon arrival discovered back main unit was not operational. Discovered unit blower motor was extremely hot and producing an awful strong burning smell. Checked capacitor for blower motor and unit was dead 10mfd at 0.0. Replaced capacitor and motor started up with no problem, unit pulling 7.83 amps while blower is operating, unable to see blower amp specs. With motor being under heavy load and overheating like it has, recommending replacement of blower motor for preventative measures. Unit is from 2006 and should be considered for replacement soon if repairs continue to be needed. Two units in the building, both operational at this time but replacement was recommended due to age and part failures on bigger unit.
System low on refrigerant again. Leak sealant was unable to stop the leak due to the size of the hole. Located UV dye all over the evaporator coil. System out of factory 10 year parts warranty. Replace leaking evaporator coil, pressure test with nitrogen, evacuate, and recharge with R410a refrigerant.
AC low on refrigerant again. Previous visit we added refrigerant and leak sealant with UV dye. The sealant was unable to seal the leak due to the size of hole. Tested the heat exchanger with combustion analyzer. It passed. Acceptable to repair/replace AC only.
Diagnosed leaking evaporator coil on a 15 year old carrier AC system.
