Pride Plumbing was called out to investigate the cause of a sewer odor in a laundry room. Our inspection found a cleanout cap that appeared to have leaked sometime in the past. We removed the cleanout cap and applied plumber's tape and pipe dope to its threads and reinstalled it. We advised the customer to monitor the odor and call us back if it persisted.
