Pride Plumbing was called out for issues with phantom flushing from an American Standard toilet and a leaking bathtub drain. After inspection of the bathtub, we found that someone had used silicone underneath the bathtub's drain in an attempt to seal it, but it had deteriorated and was leaking. We removed the silicone and applied plumbers puddy in its place to fix the drain leaking issue. After inspection of the toilet, we found that its toilet tank flapper was leaking and needed to be replaced. We removed the old flapper and installed a new Lavelle 3060BP red Korky universal model. We then tested the toilet for proper operation with no further issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model.
