Pride Plumbing came out and provided cost estimates to 1) replace a 50-gallon gas tank water heater with a new Navien 240A tankless model with a NAVICIRC recirculation pump (this would include: removing and disposing of the old water heater along with its electrical wiring, venting, and gas and water supply lines; installing the new tankless unit along with its service valves, PEX and stainless steel water lines to the unit's water connections, copper gas supply line, gas regulator, NAVICIRC recirculating kit, drip leg, gas shutoff valve, and condensation and intake lines; wiring up the unit; ensuring that it was properly vented; and lighting and programming the unit); and 2) cut into and remove a small section of interior concrete flooring; dig down and locate a clogged section of cast iron drain line; cut out and replace the leaking section of pipe with new PVC piping and fittings; and after testing for leaks, replace the soil and concrete we took out.
