Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a 40-gallon electric tabletop water heater with a new customer-supplied 40-gallon electric tabletop model and relocate it from underneath the home to the kitchen (this would include removing and disposing of the old water heater and its water supply lines; installing the new water heater, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater's water connections to the new location, a new brass drain valve, connecting the unit’s electrical connections (adding a Romex connector), bleeding the air out of the water lines, ensuring that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented (running its discharge line underneath the house and outside the homes' foundation), and setting the unit to its appropriate operating temperature).
