Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to remove an air admittance valve and reroute a new plumbing vent line. This would require us to 1) remove a 3-inch air admittance valve, Fernco coupling, and 90-degree elbow from a vent pipe in the attic; and 2) bore through the wall, add a rubber boot sealed with caulk in the hole, and angle a new PVC pipe through the hole and up just past the roof eve.
