Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) cut and remove the PVC drain lines going to a handwashing sink; repipe the new PVC drain lines to meet recently revised plumbing and venting codes - we will use the sink's existing air admittance valve; and test the sink and drains for leaks and proper drainage; and 2) cut and remove the P-trap at the wall using a hub-saver tool and reduce the drain piping down to 2-inches for a grease trap discharge line; install a new 2-inch PVC discharge line coming from the grease trap going to the sewer line - using an existing 3-compartment sink's air admittance valve; and test the new discharge line for leaks and proper drainage.
