Pride Plumbing was called out for a Kohler toilet bowl leaking at its base. We flushed the toilet multiple times and did not see any leaks. We then went into the basement and found water droplets coming down the drainpipe for the toilet which indicated a cracked, improperly installed, or deteriorated toilet flange. We provided a cost estimate to replace the flange. This would require us to pull the toilet, clean off the old wax ring gasket, cut the flange loose, install a new PVC repair flange, install a new wax ring gasket, replace the toilet bolts and caps, reset the toilet, install a new above-floor braided stainless steel water supply line, test for stability, leaks, and caulk around the base of the toilet bowl.
