Pride Plumbing was called out for a non-working Insinkerator Badger 5 garbage disposal. Our tests and inspection found that it was jammed and that the unit's overload protection (high limit) switch had tripped. We unjammed the unit, reset its switch, and tested it for leaks and proper operation with no further issues. We provided cost estimates to 1) replace the unit with a new Insinkerator Badger 5 model along with replacing the kitchen sink's PVC waste piping and P-trap; and 2) either rebuild a leaking Moen single-handle bathtub/shower valve by replacing its cartridge or replace it with a new Delta R10000-UNBX rough-in valve.
