Pride Plumbing came out and 1) replaced a leaking 40-gallon natural gas State GS640BCT-400 water heater with a new 40-gallon natural gas Envirotemp 40T3-35NGR-400 model with an atmospheric vent (this included removing and disposing of the old water heater along with its electrical wiring, venting, and gas and water supply lines; and installing rubber pads, the new water heater, thermal expansion tank; new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines and copper gas supply lines to the water heater connectors, a temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve, a brass drain valve, atmospheric vent and ensuring the unit was properly vented, and lighting the pilot and adjusting its flame); and 2) replaced a faulty pressure reducing valve (PRV) at the water meter (attaching it to the existing black roll outside main water supply line with new PEX piping and fittings and adding a ball water shutoff valve) with a new Watts LFN45BM1-DU-PEXXPEX valve.
