Pride Plumbing was called out for no hot water from a 50-gallon electric A.O. Smith E6-50H45DV 130 water heater. Our inspection determined that the unit's electrical breaker was faulty. We advised the customer to contact an electrician to come out and look at the issue. We also provided a cost estimate to either rebuild the unit (by replacing its elements and thermostats) or replace it with either a new customer supplied model or a new Pride Plumbing supplied 50-gallon electric model (this would include removing and disposing of the old water heater; installing a rubber water heater pad, the new water heater, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater's water connections, a new brass drain valve, connecting the unit’s electrical connections, bleeding the air out of the water lines, ensuring that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and setting the unit to its appropriate operating temperature
