Pride Plumbing was called out for a leak from a Mansfield toilet in the master bathroom. Our inspection found that the customer had tried to install a new Douglas flush valve but did not install it properly and he also broke the nut on the toilet tank's water supply line. We removed the toilet tank and installed a new Douglas flush valve (with a new Jones Stephens C05070 valve) and replaced the tank's gasket along with its bolts and washers. We then reinstalled the tank to the toilet bowl, installed a new braided stainless-steel water supply line, and tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues. We provided a cost estimate to replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model.
