I arrived to our clients home for the upstairs AC not cooling properly. Our client informed me that he believed it was low on refrigerant. He did confirm that he has had the unit filled up with refrigerant in the past. I began by testing and inspecting all the electrical components to the outdoor unit. I found a capacitor that was outside of manufacturer specifications as well as the contactor for the outdoor unit. When testing the refrigerant pressures I did confirm that the refrigerant was low on this unit. I presented all my findings to Mr. Bell and he elected to replace both of the Failed parts and add refrigerant with leak seal today. He understands that there is no warranty or guarantee on the refrigerant used today. Once I completed the repairs for the upstairs unit, I did also test and inspect the downstairs system.
