Upon arrival, I found the evaporator coil frozen due to air flow issues. It was determined that both, upstairs and downstairs, dampers are not springing open. I tested them to ensure that the internal damper was working properly and that it was only the motor that has failed. I collected a deposit for the work. We will need to order 2 Honeywell dampers. I fixed the dampers to be open and instructed the customer to wait until about 9pm to turn it back on. This will allow time for the evaporator coil to thaw and be able to cool again.
