I arrived at our clients home for the unit not cooling properly. Our client recently purchased the home and had not replaced the air filter since moving in December. The system was running and I proceeded to connect gauges and found the unit to be low on refrigerant. The entire system is dated 2021. I did also test all the electrical components on the outdoor condenser unit and ensured everything was testing within range. I showed my finding to our client and gave them options to address the low Freon pressures. They elected to add Freon today. They understand that there is no warranty nor guarantee on Freon being used today and I did not identify a leak in the system. I did add 18oz of Freon and was able to get the unit cooling with a 18° drop. Our client also had concerns regarding attic insulation and they requested an estimate and financing application to get attic insulation completed in the home. We will send all the proper estimates tomorrow and follow up regarding promotion
