Performed 2 system cooling maintenance. I checked amps, capacitors, filter, refrigerant, electrical, safeties, drains, and cleanliness. The systems are performing mostly within manufacture specifications. I observed that the emergency drain pans on both systems have an excessive amount of rust. It is advised to replace these pans to remove the risk of the pan rusting out. With the installation of new pans, it will be included to line these pans with a water resistant spray to combat rust. The downstairs system’s outdoor 45/5 capacitor is reading just under the manufacture specification. This means that the compressor can stop at anytime, but will continue to run for now. It is advised to replace the capacitor to eliminate an unnecessary service charge. I provided options for a generic capacitor and a upgraded capacitor with a 5 year warranty.
