I arrived at our client home for a single system cooling maintenance inspection. Our client had recently replaced the air filter and did not need it changed today. I began outside by testing the electrical components to the condenser unit. The unit has had every electrical component replaced already. Every thing tested within manufacture specifications with exception of the compressor start and run amps. They were reading very high. This is due to the fact that the unit is low of R22 refrigerant. I presented this to our client and he is aware unit may not last the summer. We discussed the full system replacement option and also future plans for the home. I will create and send an estimate for a 14 Seer option. The unit is currently running the best it can.
