Customer has no heat in the basement zone of their house: * At arrival I found the boiler on and running for the additional two zones of the customers house * The basement zone valve is closed and not receiving a call to open * Confirm that the thermostat is calling for heat and cycled the thermostat on and off- no change zone valve remains closed * jump out thermostat and zone valve opens and boiler fires normally * bad thermostat- customer approved replacement * shut power to boiler * removed existing thermostat and wiring from wall * installed and secured brand new Honeywell digital programmable thermostat and wire in and configure for heating only * thermostat is installed level on wall, return power to boiler and test system operations * call for heating at thermostat- boiler fires * confirm zone valve opens with call for heat and circulator pump is on and running * monitor operations and confirm system satisfied at 180 degrees and supply and return and baseboard all hot * re
