S/w Upon arrival found basement thermostat ambient temperature @ 52 degrees. Thermostat is calling for heat @ 70 degrees. Checked baseboard temperature 53 degrees. Checked that zone is calling. Found Honeywell motorized valve stuck for basement zone, even when trying to manually open zone up. Bypassed zone valve to have heat flowing once more. Zone is operating with zone valve bypassed. Shut power and checked continuity on end switch wires, reading OL. Bad zone valve and body that needs to be replaced. Temporarily locked Honeywell zone valve in manual position to give customer heat for basement and disconnected 1 leg of 24volts & 1 leg for the end switch to keep valve open. Customer is aware that basement zone will be getting heat when other zones are calling. Need to return and make repair for basement zone.
