View visual findings from this job here - https://visionshare.xoi.io/?id=XA-2F41-62C0A2AA317A419CB1A0071C91A5F983 Return to replace gas valve on Rheem water heater: * water heater is shut down * isolate supply cold and hot water to the tank * drain down 75 gallon water tank * disconnect gas at union and remove gas piping to existing valve * removed existing valve from water heater * install and secure brand new gas valve in Rheem water heater and secure main gas, pilot gas and thermocouple * pipe in and secure all connections from union back to gas valve on water heater opening gas back up and checking for leaks- none * fill water heater back up with cold water and open cold supply and hot water valves back to HW and home * purge all sinks and showers of air and discolored water * it was recommended to the customer to run a cycle In the washing machine with nothing in it on hot water * light pilot- stays lit first try * set dial on water heater batten A and B - main burner fires-
