Here to replace evaporator coil for the 2nd fl unico system. The refrigerant was recovered from the system old coil was removed and new coil was installed. Unit was pressurized and checked for leaks no leak were present. A vacuumed pulled and system was recharged to factory 5 lbs 14 oz. after starting the system up in heating we realized that the reversing valve was not switching over to heat. We tried to switch the system from cool to heating multiple times to try and get the revering valve to engage. After multiple tries and troubleshooting the revering valve is stuck and will not switch over to heating. System works in cooling but not in heating. spoke to customer about this issue and also explained that the system is around 8 years old and in order to upgrade the system they would have to replace the indoor along with the outdoor. Customer is interested in getting an estimate for system replacement as well as a quote to replace the revering valve when a reverting valve is repla
