Here to replace 4 way reversing valve and TXV for 2nd floor condenser. Reclaim refrigerant @ unit. Remove condenser fan motor to access components. Remove all condenser covers. Unsweat and cut out reversing valve. Unsweat and remove TXV. Disconnect all electrical components @ condenser high pressure and low pressure switches. Fan motor and compressor wiring from control board. Blow out refrigerant lines before installing new TXV and 4 way reversing valve. Needed to retrofit copper piping to make 4 way reversing valve fitting within old existing pipe design. Nitrogen brazed in all components. Pressurize system with dry nitrogen 350 psi. Checked all brazed joint with bubble leaks solution. No leaks. Release dry gas and put system in a vacuum. Let vacuum sit for 5 minutes and confirm no leak @ system. After vacuum was pulled, system was charge by methods of weigh-in of refrigerant 6lbs of R-410A based on factory charge. Ran and monitor system operation. Took temperature split at outlets.
