Customer was having her range and dishwasher replaced when she found that they couldn’t swap them out because they were hard-wired. We removed wires from units and installed new receptacles for the 2 appliances. We installed a 50 amp 240 volt receptacle behind the range and a 120 volt GFCI under the kitchen sink for the new dishwasher to plug into. I tested both receptacles and they showed proper voltage. Both breakers were accurately labeled in the main panel in the basement.
