During my safety inspection I opened up the electrical panel and found neutrals on a ground bar in the main electrical panel I also found many double tap neutrals on the neutral bar when I went outside to inspect to see if the gas meter had a ground wire going to it I Saul the electrical meter inspected the SEU cable where I found a rip in the wire I brought this to the customers attention along with some other things and the customer decided to get them taken care of today. So I updated the grounding and bonding to the Holmes electrical system meaning I took two ground rods and drove them into the Earth then taking a number four ground wire from one to the other into the main electrical panel then from the main electrical panel Irani number four ground wire to the cold water entrance then at the water heater I bonded the hot water pipe to the cold water pipe over to the gas manifold. Then I installed a whole home surge protector to protect the homes electronics and the homes utilities
