Reason for the visit was to assess electrical work done by previous contractor. Contractor was not a licensed electrician. During the assessment, I saw multiple concerning issues that needed to be addressed. There were multiple buried electrical boxes in the wall covered by drywall, wire’s buried under cabinets in the floor not in junction boxes the contractor installed, open splices in the attic not in junction boxes, and no GFCI or AFCI protection in the kitchen. This is very concerning as these are potential fire hazards in a person’s home. Please see attached pictures and estimates for completing the work needing to be done to make this home safe.
