The reason for today’s visit with the customer was to quote on general lighting replacement as well as adding a new switch controlled light in a room with no current ceiling light. Today after meeting with the home owner i began my assessment in the basement where i saw a 150 Amp Square D QO panel from 2001. I saw that the panel was over loaded to the point of needing tandem breakers and that some breakers were not listed for this panel. I saw the home owner had a foundation/cold water bond/ground inside of the panel and no signs of ground rods. After going through the panel, the customer and i then went through the home to discuss on which fixtures we would be replacing/adding.
