Pride Plumbing was called out for a GE Triton GSD5330D00WW dishwasher not draining properly. Our inspection determined that the unit had trash in its filter. We used a vacuum and removed the trash. After running two drain cycles, there was no water standing in the bottom of the dishwasher and everything was working properly. Also, there were no problems with the drain line that the dishwasher was connected to. We also provided cost estimates to perform the following work: 1) replace the dishwasher with a new model and connect its drain and water supply lines; and 2) replace the kitchen sink's P-trap, drain and drain line (including the dishwasher's drain) through the floor to under the house in the crawlspace, and to where it ties into the main sewer drain stack, with new PVC piping and fittings.
