Pride Plumbing was called out for sewage backing up into the home. We first pulled a toilet and tried running a sewer machine down through the flange, but it would only go about 15 feet. So, we then went outside, dug down to the cast iron main outside sewer septic drain line near the home's foundation, cut the drain line, installed a new two-way PVC cleanout with cap (connecting to the existing drain line with two new no-hub couplings), and ran a sewer tape towards the home from the clean out. After testing the drain line for leaks and proper drainage, we covered the drain line. After replacing the toilet bowl's wax ring gasket and toilet bowl bolts and caps, and resetting and testing the toilet, the issue was corrected. We also provided a cost estimate to repipe and replace the drain lines in the crawlspace, going to all the fixtures in the home (kitchen, one bathroom, and a washing machine), with new PVC piping; installing new fittings and supports under the house for each fixture.
