Arrived onsite and spoke with homeowner about issue. The air filter was stuck in the filter slot. When removing the filter it was ripping apart. Once the filter was removed installed a new 16x25x1 Filter provided by the homeowner. The filters have the metal wire running through the material. I believe this got caught on the filter slot and started pulling the filter apart. Recommended to the homeowner that he use a sturdier filter that isn’t as flimsy of filter. Tried to leave one of our filters but he did not want it, he said he has lots of filters. He wants to continue to use his filters and did not want me to leave one of our filters.
