Customer friendly service / Knowlegable

Trey came out for a post installation checkup (system was installed 4 months age) - cost included, no charge for this visit. He was throrough and answered our questions. System is outstanding, and we have seen a significant drop in both our electric bill and in propane use. Adding a heat pump is probably making the difference.

Installation of new furnace and heat pump.

Installation went well and Loving Air provided excellent customer care. From the first call with Lizzy and subsequent calls to coordinate the installation, the office staff were caring and attentive to our questions. The initial assessment by Hassan of our failing system was superb, Dakota provided supervision and helped us pick out the new system. The installation today was completed quicker than expected; Fred and Chris worked effectively together with one installing the furnace and ducting and the other the heat pump and electrical. Christmas this year will be a bit warmer than we thought it would. Thank you to Loving Air for your effort to put our system together and on-line so quickly.

I completed a complimentary refrigerant leak search on the systems. No leaks found at this time. All wiring is tight and in good condition. The attic evaporator coil is dirty. I cleaned the evaporator coil. The refrigerant pressures are in correct range per manufacturer specifications. I completed our check sheets and emailed them to the customer. The systems are working properly at this time. The customer signed up for our club membership.

Upon arrival spoke with customer. Explained I was here to do a heating check and fix a vent in the kitchen. Customer showed me vent and I went ahead and got it fixed. Then started the system. Indoor coil and blower are clean. Wires are all tight. Cleaned drain line. Unit is level and all duct is tight. Made sure safety’s are working. Went outside, wires are all tight. Unit is clean. Pressures where 130/371. System is communicating so amp draws where modulating. Disconnect wires are tight. System is working good at this time of service. Priced up membership for customer.

Upon arrival went to airhandler. Customer came with me and noticed all the trash. Coil is clean, sealed up the supply due to air leakage, and looked at all the duct work. Took pictures of everything. Indoor unit is running, went outside, tested outdoor pressures and they where where the manufacturing called for 6°-7° subcool for the temperature outside. Attic could use new insolation and I explained that to the customer. Went inside and checked the thermostat and everything seems to be set up correctly. Explained to customer I will be talking to a manager Blount this job for him.

Indoor unit: I first checked the coil and evaporator fan motor for cleanliness they are. I then checked the amp draws of the system and it was about 6 amps . The drain was clean and the trap was brushed. All the duct work is tight and secured. The filter needs to be changed but the customer is supplying his own. Outdoor unit: first checked the refrigerant pressures 113/216 psi with a 70 degree indoor and a 63 outdoor. The amp draws of the system are as follows 5 amps on the compressor and .47 on the condenser fan the coil was clean and the capacitor and contactor both are in great condition. All amp draws are within manufacturer specifications At this time the system is running well.

Upon inspection found system leaking carbon monoxide into the home highest reading picked up by carbon monoxide meter is at 475 PPM lowest was at 345 PPM . Found main crack thru and thru at heat exchanger tubing entrance and at stp’s on heat exchanger. Per AGA (American gas association) when a crack is found on the heat exchanger , heat exchanger or the furnace need to be replaced these are the only two options we have from this point on to properly fix the issue . System is left off at the furnace switch as well as the gas valve , also left main gas valve to furnace off ( furnace only ) at this time. Inspected evaporator coil , performed micro leak detection. Found 3 points on the serpentine leaking R22 at this time. Mega ohm compressor, compressor is ok at this time. Also performed acid test on system, acid test shows contamination on the system the system at this time ( not severe , treatable ) Also during diagnostics found an inline float switch installed on the primary drain

. Upon arrival filters were clean. Went to the furnace and found that it was lighting up but cutting right back off. Pulled and cleaned flame sensor. Reinstalled flame sensor. Inspected burners and orifices. They need to be cleaned. Called the homeowner and got approval. Took out orifices and cleaned them. Cleared off burner assembly. Put everything back together. Fired furnace up and let it run for a while. Cut it off and on multiple times to make sure everything was good to go. The blower is clean. The blower motor amped within the manufacture specifications. The igniter is working properly. The inducer motor is spinning freely and amped within the manufacture specifications. Inspected low and high voltage wiring. All wiring and wiring connections are good and tight at this time. System is now working properly.
