Customer has no heat or hot water in home- maintenance on system recently preformed: - at arrival check thermostats and confirm they are calling for heat - Customer also has no hot water - Check mechanical room in basement - All zones calling at Argo panel and circulator pumps on and running but boiler is off - Found the pilot light out on the boiler - Inspect thermocouple and found to be showing extremely heavy ware- recommended replacement and customer approved - Shut power to boiler - Removed flame guard and roll out switch - Removed burners and inspected heat exchanger- okay - Removed existing thermocouple from gas valve and pilot assembly - Installed and secured brand new thermocouple in gas valve and pilot assembly and check for leaks- none - Relight pilot- stays lit first try - This is a strong pilot flame and thermocouple replacement should be done at every heating maintenance - Return all burners, flame guard and roll out switch - Return power to the boiler and test syste
