During my inspection today, I found a few issues with the basement level system that I needed to bring to the customers attention. But starting off when I first arrived to customer informed me about what was going on. He said that the system, would continuously run in the heat mode even when he would go to shut the system off or turn it to Ac. He said the temperature got about 74 his home. The thermostat was set to 68. He said the only way he can get the unit to stop with the turn the breaker off on the indoor unit. during my inspection today, I was unable to replicate this problem so I am on able to diagnose what was happening. If I had to take a guess I would assume that the thermostat was going bad. But I have no certain way of being sure of this. I did, however, find other major issues with the system.
