All wiring is tight and in good condition. I completed a complimentary refrigerant leak search on the system. No leaks found at this time. I found the uv bulb is bad in the Photomax we just installed this year. I replaced the bulb. The refrigerant pressures are in correct range per manufacturer specifications. The furnace is in good condition and working properly at this time. The heat exchanger is in good condition. The system is working properly at this time. I completed our check sheet and emailed it to the customer. The customer declined options at this time.

I found the coils and blower wheels dirty in all three heads. The system is low on refrigerant. I completed a complimentary refrigerant leak search on the system. No leaks found at this time. The system needs to be charged after the heads are cleaned to obtain accurate pressures. The customer signed for repairs.

During my inspection, I found a few things that the customer needed to be aware of these included a drain pan strip for the primary drain pan of the system, because the drain pan was dirty and causing the drain line to accumulate buildup. I gave the customer the option to do this and he excepted and then found that the outdoor unit was not equipped with a surge protector. Customer did not accept at this time customer then explain to me that he was interested in the UV light. I talk to him about a UV photo max and he excepted that as well, at this time all equipment is performing well and all repairs are completed

Upon arrival spoke with customer and asked about and questions or concerns, he asked about the swing mode on the systems, we talked about how it works. Then he explained one night the systems felt like they where blowing out cold air, he said unit was saying DF, I explained if it goes threw defrost it will have DF on the face showing it is working properly and going threw defrost. Went threw, indoor units, both downstairs filters are clean. Coils are clean. Wires are tight. Blowers look good. Went upstairs, filter is clean, coil is clean but blower wheel is dirty. Went outside with system running, coil is dirty, wires are tight. Pressures are 135/374. System is working but recommend coil cleanings, and a membership. Spoke with customer, customer did not want membership with cleaning at this time.

Arrived at the home and spoke with customer about issue with his heat pump. Found 1 leg of high voltage melted at wire nut due to loose connections from lack of maintenance. Made high voltage repair turned power back on and now have 245v at transformer with 24v out. Found low voltage fuse blown after inspection of low voltage wiring found common wire rubbed up against cabinet in outdoor unit. Correctly tied up all wiring installed new fuse an now have a fully operating system. Verified operation in heating mode and returned to service gave customer multiple options for todays repair.

** During my inspection the customer told me that the system was blowing air but it just wasn’t cold air. I went to the outdoor unit where I found that the compressor was not running. Upon further inspection I found that the 45/5 capacitor was popped. I told the customer in order to get the system back up and running we would have to replace this part. The system is only eight years old so I looked up the warranty on the system but it only had a five-year manufactures warranty. I then informed customer that it would be best if he got on the maintenance plan and in order to do that we would have to clean both the indoor and outdoor coils to get them up to manufacture specifications he agreed so I did the work. *** Maintenance: indoor unit: when I went inside to check the indoor unit I looked at the cleanliness of the indoor coil and indoor evaporator fan Motor/wheel and found that the evaporator coil was dirty and the indoor evaporator fan motor/wheel was not. I informed the customer
