** During my inspection the customer told me that the system was blowing air but it just wasn’t cold air. I went to the outdoor unit where I found that the compressor was not running. Upon further inspection I found that the 45/5 capacitor was popped. I told the customer in order to get the system back up and running we would have to replace this part. The system is only eight years old so I looked up the warranty on the system but it only had a five-year manufactures warranty. I then informed customer that it would be best if he got on the maintenance plan and in order to do that we would have to clean both the indoor and outdoor coils to get them up to manufacture specifications he agreed so I did the work. *** Maintenance: indoor unit: when I went inside to check the indoor unit I looked at the cleanliness of the indoor coil and indoor evaporator fan Motor/wheel and found that the evaporator coil was dirty and the indoor evaporator fan motor/wheel was not.
